Important Update on Our Rules
As of November 2024, we’ve had to move forward with restricting fictional content involving underage characters on CreativeClash. This is due to increasing restrictions and laws criminalising such content in the USA and UK, both of which are the main resident countries for CC’s owners. Unfortunately, such content now poses an existential threat to that of CC’s hosts as well as CreativeClash itself.
We hope that this restriction will only need to be a temporary measure; if anything changes that will allow us to safely host all fictional content again, we will move to do so.
We wish to make it clear that we still believe there should be no restrictions on fictional content. We still believe that our users have the right to explore any fictional themes they wish, and that fiction does not equal reality, nor that any art should be illegal.
We will not be taking any punitive action for any type of fictional content users create or engage with outside of CreativeClash spaces.
-
With this new content policy, we’ve added the following to our >Rules<
Do not post, link to, discuss, or share content which contains or directly alludes to any sort of sexual content involving underage characters, hereby defined as any characters that are, or are visibly intended to be, physically under 18 years of age. This also includes content intended to showcase fetish(es), and nudity with genitals visible or sexualised nudity.
We strive to allow artistic freedom in all mediums as we are able to within the extent of the law; unfortunately, such content poses an existential risk to CreativeClash.
- Do not post creative works (such as art or writing) that depicts character(s) that are clearly underage engaging in, or stating to engage in, sexual acts or situations.
- As art contains multitudes of different styles and characteristics, this will necessitate moderation on a case-by-case basis regarding some illustrations and/or character designs. We do not make judgements solely on the basis of art style alone, and we do not remove images or characters simply for being depicted in a “cute” or “chibi” art style.
- Aging-up characters that are portrayed as underage in canon is allowed, as by definition this makes the character an adult.
All content is subject to moderation, and removal if absolutely necessary. See >here< for further clarification on this rule.
-
For further clarification, here’s a breakdown:
You cannot post, link to, share, or discuss fictional characters that are canonically under 18 (OCs or canon characters alike), or are clearly intended to physically appear to be under 18 (ie, 900 year old dragon lolis), in any sort of situation that is sexually explicit or could plausibly be interpreted as sexual. This includes nudity (especially where genitals and/or buttocks are visible), and charged depictions of kink/fetish.
We understand that art styles vary a lot. This will be taken into account when moderating illustrations and/or character designs. We will be taking into account information relating to the illustration (for example: if the character is identified as a “cub” on their profile).
We will not be making judgements solely on the basis of art style alone, and thus will not be removing images or characters simply for being depicted in a “cute” or “chibi” artstyle.
And no, we will not be removing characters for being short, nor for being any particular species, nor any other “minor-coded”
bullshitsilliness. If you have any concerns about whether a character or image will be allowed, please reach out to us via the >Help & Support< forum, by opening a ticket in Discord, or e-mailing us at [email protected]

Does this mean I can't link to InkBunny/Pixic/Misskey/etc?
You may not link directly to any sexual content involving underage characters anywhere in CC spaces, including this site.
However, you may link directly to your profile/gallery page on any website, regardless of what other content is hosted on that site. This includes Inkbunny, Baraag, Pixiv, your personal site, etc. You may also link to someone else’s profile/gallery if it is to give credit, provided also that the image/writing/etc you are sharing follows our rules.
What about ships involving underage characters, or age gaps between characters?
Characters under the age of 18 cannot be depicted in, alluded to, or otherwise stated to be in a romantic or sexual relationship (consensual or otherwise) with any other character aged 19 or older.
Characters under the age of 18 may be depicted in ONLY romantic and/or platonic relationships with characters in the same age group. We define these age groups as “Between 13 and 18 years old” and “Under 13 years old.” There may be no depictions or allusions to sexual content in these ships.
We define “sexual” as engaging in sexual and/or kink or fetish acts, and/or nudity.
Age gaps between characters aged 18 and over have no restrictions at all.
